Mr Craig Hooper
Senior Advisor - Residential Aged Care, Healthcare Management, IPC and COVID Response
Craig is the Principal at Nampart Health, a healthcare consultancy and training company. He is a Registered Nurse and Paramedic, with a Master’s in Education and is a PHD candidate. Craig has domestic and international experience in healthcare management and operations. He brings a unique perspective to aged care and NDIS with his expertise in both nursing and paramedicine.
Craig’s specialisation is healthcare management uplift and operational improvement. He has worked as an Executive Director, General and National Operations Manager in the health care arena. More recently, within Aged Care units, Craig has provided assessment and management options for providers with COVID-19 Outbreaks in VIC and NSW. Working in collaboration with facilities, he was responsible for recommending, designing, deploying and managing emergency response teams, along with engaging with Commonwealth and State bodies.
Craig is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management. and a member of the Australian College of Infection, Prevention & Control. Craig divides his time between providing healthcare consultancy services, providing professional development workshops for evolving clinical managers in Southeast Asia and completing his PHD candidature.
Ms Nicole Smith
Senior Advisor - Dementia Care, PCC and COVID Response
Nicole is the Principal of The Community Café - Health & Wellness and is a Registered Nurse and Gerontologist with extensive experience in residential aged care, dementia care and implementing person centered care models.
Prior to joining the consultancy, Nicole worked with a large Health Care Provider to assist the Commonwealth to provide an assessment and management first response option for providers with COVID-19 Outbreaks in NSW, ACT and VIC. This senior role was also responsible for recommending, designing, deploying and managing emergency response teams to facilities in need. Nicole’s background in Residential Aged Care Facility Management and NDIS gives her an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of caring for the elderly
She has had extensive experience in managing outbreak sites across Australia over the past two years. Nicole divides her time between the consultancy and managing a new and exciting holistic model of care for those living with Dementia and Disabilities
